HOW WE CAN BENIFIT YOU
Here at optimal health, we consider how structural and mechanical changes throughout your body can impact other systems/areas of the body, which can occur through occupational strains such as sitting at a desk, driving long distances, lifting, carrying and repetitive motions. It can also be in response to the stainsthat daily activities place on your body, such as being a full-time parent or taking part in local sporting events.
All of these have a significant impact, altering the functioning of the body by restricting blood and lymph vessels, as well as nerve fibers which generate discomfort and postural adaptations as the body tries to compensate, potentially restricting joint mobility and creating dysfunction in other areas.
By recognising where dysfunctions have occurred, we work to correct them by utilising a range of gentle, hands-on, osteopathic techniques that are tailored to your requirements focuing on releasing tension, stretching muscles and mobilising joints. These techniques will improve imbalances, overall function, mobility, relieve your pain, keep you active and help you maintain optimal health.

ROBERT GREEN (Dip STM)
Robert gained a diploma in soft tissue manipulation and joint mobilisation, adding further qualifications to this, in advanced spinal manipulation and neuromuscular techniques.
Robert is currently halfway through his five-year honours’ degree in Osteopathy, with the Collage of osteopaths, where his clinicians have recognised his ‘’excellent patient care, anatomical knowledge and professionalism.’’
In the clinic, Robert diagnoses and treats patients with the therapeutic goal of restoring well-being and relieving pain as quickly as possible. He does this by recognising how changes in the structure and function of the body can lead to structural and mechanical modifications. That can have a significant impact throughout the body, generating dysfunction, postural adaptations and discomfort.
He uses a range of gentle hands on osteopathic treatment techniques that focus on releasing the tension, improving muscle imbalance, mobilising joints and relieving pain. Treatment is tailored to the individual needs of the patient so, varies depending on your age, fitness levels and diagnosis. These are often used together with helpful advice designed to keep you active and maintain optimal health.
